Challenge: A Broken System
The existing platform was inaccessible, slow, and inherited an opaque legacy system that was only tailored to commercial real estate (CRE) investment from wealthy individuals or companies.
Process: Platform Enhancement with Blockchain
The team (the CEO, stakeholders, database and system admins, blockchain experts) set out to democratize CRE ownership by building a blockchain-enabled platform that removes traditional barriers. Using my UI/UX expertise, I iterated with direct feedback from investors and sponsors, focusing on real usability and transparency. To handle secure financial operations, I integrated Prime Trust, enabling ACH, wires, checks, crypto, and instant settlement with built-in compliance tools like KYC, AML, fraud detection, and PCI-level security.
Outcome: Accessibility, Liquidity, Inclusivity
The result is a seamless, user-friendly platform that opens CRE development investment to the public with liquidity, speed, and trust. What once required years and mountains of documents now takes minutes, unlocking an asset class for everyone.
